Mens Bowling

Home 9 Mens Bowling

Our Men’s Section is about 70 strong and as a result has several teams in different leagues and so you are likely to get a league game fairly soon after joining the club. Also with this number of people there is always someone who would like just a friendly roll up – whatever you standard. We are currently registered with 2 bowling associations, these being Bowls Dorset and the Bournemouth & District leagues playing against clubs in both Dorset and Hampshire. Our season runs from April to September whereby we are currently involved in the following leagues.

Bournemouth and District League

We have 4 teams currently playing in Divisions 1 and 4, which involves 4 rinks of 4 players, and two morning triples teams.

Bowls Dorset League

These leagues play on Monday evenings commencing at 6pm. To avoid having to travel long distances the Bowls Dorset leagues are split into 2 sections i.e., East and West Dorset. We have 3 teams entered with the format being 3 rinks of 4 players.

National and County Competitions

Every year we enter both the National and County competitions all of which are challenging competitions.
