Poole Park Bowling Club are again opening on this bank holiday Monday of the Big Bowls Weekend organised by Bowls England and look forward to welcoming anyone who would like to come and have a go at bowling.

The club will provide bowls and some coaching so come and have a go, it’s great fun for all, young and old alike, you just need a pair of flat shoes and some comfy clothes and you’re all set to go.

Congratulations to Poole Park Members, Bob Atkins, Tony Hume, Olly Kenway, Chris Kane and Andy Paulley on being selected for Trials for the Dorset Middleton Cup Team, being held on Monday, May 8th at Dorchester Bowls Club.

Good Luck Guys!

Over 30 of our Members enjoyed celebrating the Coronation weekend with lunch, a raffle and a “Royal” quiz. The Event could have been twice the size if we had the capacity, but there will be many more coming up for all to enjoy. Photos can be seen on our Facebook page here.

The show features many well-known songs from Musicals such as Calamity Jane, Oklahoma and Annie Get Your Gun, so plenty to of opportunity to get up and join in the Line Dancing!

Poole Park will be extremely well represented at Leamington Spa and we wish them all the best of luck in August!

We’re very pleased to welcome our latest Sponsors, Breeze Suzuki, some of who attended one of our regular Taster Sessions. By the look of the video on our Poole Park Bowls Club Facebook page, they had a pretty good time too!
